Aaron Magallanes Sr.

Age 69 of Chicago, IL passed away Thursday, July 23, 2020. He is survived by his loving children, Aaron Magallanes Jr., Amy (Gabriel) Magallanes and Vanessa Sherwood; grandchildren, Paul Vasquez and Michael Vasquez, Joseph Magallanes and Leticia Magallanes, Amalia White, Gabriel White, Jesus Magallanes, Natalia White, Ariana Frothingham, and Joshua Frothingham; sister, Hermina Vanna and her children Mark and Ronnie Vanna. Aaron was preceded in death by his dear wife, Cora; and parents, Amparo and Gonzalo Magallanes.

A Memorial Visitation celebrating Aaron's life will be held Saturday August 1, 2020 at Solan-Pruzin Funeral Home , 7109 Calumet Ave., Hammond, IN from 2:00 till 6:00 PM. A service with Father Mark Pavlina officiating will be at 5:00 PM. In accordance with Indiana guidelines, please wear mask and maintain social distancing.

Aaron worked for Norfolk & Southern Rail Road for over 20 years. He always enjoyed going out for breakfast and spending time with his family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be appreciated.
