Alejandro "Alex" Salinas

age 58, passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2023. Alejandro is survived by his loving wife of almost 35 years, Cynthia Lopez and precious daughter, Nicole Salinas. Also surviving Alex are his brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Taide Salinas; and three brothers.

Alex was known for his humorous antics and for being a jokester. Although he enjoyed pranking people, he had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. He was highly knowledgeable of cars and absolutely loved his '78 Cutlass and '79 Cutlass Supreme. Alex appreciated building model cars, especially those from the 60s and 70s. He was also an avid Cubs fan and Packers fan. He will be remembered as a loving and caring husband and father.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home, 14 Kennedy Ave., Schererville, IN. A service celebrating Alex's life will be held at 7:00 PM. Services conclude at the funeral home.
