Alena Przewoznik, age 20, of East Chicago, IN, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, August 17, 2021. She was preceded in death by her brother Andre Tillman Sr. She is survived by her parents Brian and Loretta Dail; foster parents William and Chelsie White; sisters: LaTaiva (Leander), LaTasha (Xavier), Tiffine' (Wilfredo), LaShonda, Tammarrah (Jose), NaKesha, Brianne (Aaron), and Stacey; brothers: Brian (Kathleen), Maurice, Eric (Savanna), and Cody; and hosts of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; as well as special mentor Adriana Guevara-Pina.

Early in her life Alena discovered that she loved to sing and perform "shows" for her family and friends. Her voice perfected over the years and very often could bring tears to people's eyes. Her voice was amazing.

While attending The Crossing School of Business and Entrepreneurship, Alena would often sing for special occasions and activities. She was also a part of establishing a candle company with some fellow students. Alena found comfort and joy with The Cross Church of East Chicago. She enjoyed the Sunday services and the mid-week team prayer gatherings. Alena was full of love and everyone was her friend. She always wanted the best for the people around her, always trying to pay it forward. She is loved and very missed by many.

A visitation will be held on Monday, September 6, 2021, from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home , 7109 Calumet Ave., HAMMOND, IN. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at 11:00 AM. Alena will lie-in-state from 10:00 AM until time of service. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Hammond, IN. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
