Born as Alice Louise Ross, Alice Drudge, 81, was a resident of Hammond for over 60 years. She died March 24, 2015 in Chagrin Falls, OH after a short but valiant fight with vascular dementia. Preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Jim and three siblings, Harry Ross, Betty Battleson and Sarah Matson.

She was a loving mother to Carolyn (John) Holtzhauser of Mentor, OH, Marilyn (Philip) Taylor of Spring, TX, James (Jean) Drudge of Munster, IN and John (Debbie) Drudge of Branson, MO. Devoted grandmother to Don (Kendi) Taylor, Joseph (Maria) Taylor, Maggi (Larry) Holtzhauser-Cardenas, Kristie Drudge, Robert (Christine) Taylor, Kate Holtzhauser, Daniel Drudge, Andrew Drudge, Miranda Drudge, Brandi Drudge and Lacie Myszak. Proud great grandmother of 5.

Alice was born in Aruba, DWI to the late Hiram and Alice Ross. She graduated from Griffith High School. She was a 65+ year member of the First Christian Church of Hessville. Alice loved to play the piano, sing, play games, sew and travel the world.

A celebration of her life will occur at a memorial service to be held Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 11AM at the First Christian Church of Hessville, 6733 Alabama St Hammond, IN. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Christian Church of Hessville.
