Alicia Louise Fanno (nee Juszczak)

Alicia Louise Fanno, of Schererville, formerly East Chicago, passed away peacefully on Monday February 8, 2021, at the age of 81. She is survived by her loving children: Dean (Brenda) Fanno, Dennis (Tina) Fanno, Donna (Dan) Jacobs, and Douglas (Marie) Fanno; grandchildren: Adam (Markie) Fanno, Hillary (Grant) Cummings, Emily Fanno, Brianna (Jose) Barrera, Brandon Jacobs (Sarah Grimler), Brian Jacobs (Sydney Flick), Matthew Fanno, Jacob Fanno and Luke Fanno; great-grandchildren: Aydin, Grayson, Gideon, Easton, and Oliver; sister Sally Caromano; sister-in-law Patti Juszczak; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Alicia was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Madge Juszczak (nee Nowosinski) and her brother Gene.

Alicia was a lifelong gardener, Bulls fan and enjoyed sewing and cooking. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and she loved attending their sporting events and extracurricular activities. Alicia will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be sorely missed.
