Obituary
Amelia "Minnie" Ramirez (nee Gutierrez) age 70, of Sauk Village, IL, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 12, 2023. Amelia is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Jaime Ramirez; children, Michael Ramirez and Sarah (Dominick) Kreckman; grandchildren, Benjamin and Sydney Kreckman; siblings, Angeline(late, Tomas)Farrell, Rose-Marie Vasquez, Phyllis Villalobos, Laura(Rich)Cervantes and Christine(Gilbert)Alvarez and several nieces and nephews. Preceded by her parents Benjamin and Cruz Gutierrez.
Amelia graduated in 1970 from Bowen High School in Chicago, IL. She worked at both St. James School in Sauk Village and McConathy Public Library. She loved to spend time tending to her garden and her greatest joy in life was being a grandmother.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Monday, March 20, 2023 from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home , 14 Kennedy Avenue, Schererville, IN. A Prayer Services will be held at 4:30 PM.
