Andrew Richard Slampyak

Andy passed away peacefully in hospice on April 18, 2022 due to complications from COVID and cancer. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Suzy; devoted daughter Kristine; precious grandchildren, Jesse and MacKenzie; and supportive sister, Carol. Preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Anne.

Andy was very proud of his accomplishments: he served 12 years in the Army Reserves, owned Rite Way Driving School for 15 years, and obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Governors State University.

A private memorial service will be held for the family and entrusted to Solan Pruzin Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
