ANGELINE (ANGIE) BRUNO
Angeline (Angie) Bruno was born July 4, 1917 in Chicago, IL, and died June 23, 2016, in Yuma, AZ. She was preceded in death by her parents Salverio and Josephine Scaglione; brother Frank; and husband of 57 years, James. She is survived by her brothers: Vincent and John (Thelma) Scaglione; son Russell; daughters: Beverly Benczik and Jackie Bruno; grand daughters: Angela (Josh) Holder and Amy (Steve) Fabry; grandson Dustin (Michelle) Bruno; great grandchildren: Angelo, Mia and Braydon Bruno and several nieces and nephews.
Angie was the owner of Northwest Indiana Addressers and Mailers in Hammond for 35 years. She was a girl scout Mom volunteer; a cub scout den mother and a soccer grandma. She was a seamstress and loved to work on crafts, fish, sort old buttons and work jigsaw puzzles.
Services will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on July 9, 2016, at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home, Hammond, IN. Burial will be at Assumption Catholic Cemetery in Glenwood, IL.
