Angeline Cichon (nee Bachusz)

age 93, of Hammond, Indiana passed away Thursday, June 9, 2016 at her son's residence in Huntington Beach California. She is survived by sons: Timothy (Terry) Cichon of Griffith, IN; Michael Cichon of San Jose, CA; Patrick (Miwako) Cichon of Huntington Beach, CA; grandchildren: Apryl, Heidi (Jeremy), Christopher (Ami), Ashley (JC), TJ, Melissa, Matthew, Simone, Kaho, Cheryl, Shane and Lisa; godchildren: Diane Mackowiak, Mary Ann O'Conner, Mary Ann Jendresak; eight great grandchildren; loving cousin Stanley Jendresak Jr.; many nieces and nephews; sister Theresa Mackowiak (Hank) of Westville, IL.
She is preceded in death by her husband Casimir Cichon, son Christopher Cichon, sisters: Helen (Gonsiorowski), Corinne (Cisczon), Mary (Miklusak) and Stella, brothers Frank Bachusz and Anthony Bachusz.

Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, June 19, 2016 from 4:00-8:00 PM at the Solan Pruzin Funeral Home & Crematory 14 Kennedy Ave Schererville, IN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 20, 2016 at 10:00 AM DIRECTLY at St. John Bosco Catholic Church 7113 Columbia Ave Hammond, IN with Fr. Richard Orlinski officiating. Angie will be laid to rest with Casimir at Holy Cross Cemetery Calumet City, IL.

Angie was a graduate of St Stanislaus School in East Chicago, a longtime member of St John Bosco Parish and member of St. John Bosco Altar & Rosary Society. Angie was an avid supporter for Alzheimer's foundation. A lover of flowers and gardening, Angie especially loved exotic and unusual flowers. A devoted loving mother and grandmother she will be deeply missed by all.
