Ann Marie Lessner

July 8, 1975 - February 3, 2021

On Wednesday February 3 ^rd Ann Marie (Ann) Lessner (nee. Laskarin) passed away unexpectedly in her home in Sumava Resorts, IN at the young age of 45 years old. Ann grew up in Black Oak, Indiana and was part of the Calumet High School Class of 1993.

Ann loved to craft, she could make you anything you wanted with her cricut and was always making etched glass pieces and shirts for her family. She loved to go off-roading in her Red Wrangler she affectionately named "Lucy". She was a life long fan of the Chicago BlackHawks and watched or attended games whenever she could. Ann loved her pit bull pups Callie and Shelby (Shelby of which proceeded her in death just two short months ago) and was a big advocate for the breed. She was also part of a monthly bunco group. Most of all though, she loved to be a Grandma to her two granddaughters who were her entire world.

Ann is survived by her loving husband of 26 years Michael Lessner Jr, her daughter Christina (Trask) Darabaris, her son Michael Lessner III, her two granddaughters Ginevra Darabaris (3) and Freya Darabaris (1), her father Joseph Laskarin, one brother Michael (Amanda) Laskarin, her Mother in Law Ann Lessner (nee Walters), her niece and nephew Ashley and Cody Laskarin, and Aunts Ann and Mary (Phil), and many cousins.

She is proceeded in death by her mother Nancy Laskarin (nee Phelps), her Father in Law Michael Lessner Sr, and her cousin Mark Gustafson.

Her family has decided on a Celebration of Life Party after her direct cremation.

Friends and Family may come to call at 2pm at The Plumbers Local 210 Union Hall's Community Building on Saturday February 20, 2021.
