ANTHONY DALE FAUGHT – Tony D. Faught, 59, passed peacefully on Sunday March 26, 2023. He was born July 17, 1963 in Hammond, Indiana, and lived in Lafayette, IN. He was the son of Roby and Sharon (Pedigo) Faught.

Tony graduated from Hammond Tech High School in 1981. Following High School, he worked as a talented carpenter at Mr. Build from 1989-1992. From then, he worked for the Lake County Parks Department and assisted the build of Deep River Water Park in Merrillville, IN from 1992-1997. During this time, he served as an Elks member of Hammond, IN for about 15 years. Tony then was able to obtain a great job at Caterpillar in Lafayette, Indiana where he built and helped manufacture large engines for almost 20 years.

Tony had a deep love for creating art and executing building plans he would draw himself. Aside from his love for art, he loved being outside, fishing, cooking, listening to music, fixing anything that needed fixing, playing pool, and most of all, spending time with his family and friends and having a good time. If you ever spent time with Tony, you were probably enjoying the company.

He will be remembered as a hardworking man with a sense of humor who was passionate about providing for his family. He impacted the lives of his children, family, friends, coworkers, and the medical staff that provided care for him. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew him.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents Roby and Sharon Faught. He is survived by his brother Charles Faught (Laurie); sisters, Candace Puchek (Joe), Tamara Specyal (David); former wife Jane Faught; daughters, Catherine Faught, Michelle Cagle (Timothy), Victoria Faught, Nicolle Faught; five grandchildren, Grant, Brianna, Timothy, Gabriel, Chloe.

Visitation is Thursday April 6th from 4-7 pm with a memorial service beginning promptly at 7pm. Both the visitation and memorial service will be held at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home , 7109 Calumet Avenue, Hammond, Indiana 46324. Flowers may be sent to the funeral home or a donation may be made to the American Heart Association in Tony's name.
