Arlene M. Broderick (nee Dobrowolski)

Arlene Broderick (née Dobrowolski) passed from this world on November 2, 2023.Born March 20, 1939, and raised in Calumet City she spent her later years in Crown Point with her daughter and granddaughter. She was the daughter of Joseph and Joan (née Orkis) Dobrowolski. Loving wife of Donald for fifty six years. Loving Mother to Lisa( Michael) Grace and Leslie Walker. Wonderful grandmother to Molly(Kean) , Will(Breanna) Grace and Kate Walker. Beloved sister to Linda(Larry) Jones and Greg(Jane) Dobrowolski. Wonderful aunt to Dan Kozubal, John and Jim Broderick, and wonderful cousins Karen, Janet and Nancy. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Arlene was a talented artist, gardener and cook, and a voracious reader. Her best times were those spent with family, especially the many family trips to Sunset Beach, NC. She will be missed and loved forever by all.

Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home, 14 Kennedy Ave., Schererville, IN 46375 (corner of Main St. and Kennedy Ave.) from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.  A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at 12:00 noon at the funeral home.
