Arlene P. Sasser (nee Kosmoski)

Age 93, of Schererville, IN, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 10, 2026.

Arlene was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life was rooted in love and family. She is survived by her loving daughters, Paulette (Tom) Petro and Leanne (Les) Balogh. She was a cherished grandmother to Natalie (Kevin) Babcock and Doug (Kristen) Balogh; proud great-grandmother to Avery Babcock.

She is also survived by her dear sister, Pauline (late, Bill) Dobbins; along with special nieces and nephew, Rodney (Rose) Dobbins, Beth (Lenny) Gnat and Shari (Marty) Lucas.

Arlene was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 68 beautiful years, Rudolph Sasser, and her sister, Beverly (Walter) Valag.

Arlene dedicated her life to caring for her family. Before moving to her retirement community at StoryPoint in Schererville, she found great joy in nature, especially birdwatching and gardening. She also treasured time spent playing board games with her family, creating memories that will be cherished forever.
