Arthur C. Steinman

Age 75, of Munster, IN, after suffering from a massive stroke in 1998, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, December 26, 2017.  Arthur is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Beverley L. (nee Wilson); dearest daughter, Heidi (Jeff Tuinstra); special angel in his life and son, Michael Clinton; and his heart family, Tasheemah, Kenyatta and Aaron Johnson.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at 5:00 PM at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home , 14 Kennedy Ave. (corner of Kennedy Ave. and Main St.) Schererville, IN 46375 with Rev. Keith Virus officiating. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 PM until 8:00PM.

Arthur graduated from Morton High School in 1960. He was in the United States Navy, and was a Vietnam Veteran.  Arthur retired from LTV Steel after 40 years of service.  He was a Boy Scout Leader for 18 years in Highland for Troop 369. Arthur was an avid fisherman, Parkway Dr. Bicycle Repairman, and Scoundrel. In lieu of flowers, contributions c/o the Steinman Family, would be appreciated.
