Barbara "Barb" E. Kamradt (nee Cross)

age 80, of Crown Point, IN, passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2023. Barb is survived by her loving  husband of 63 years, Frank; daughters, Sandra (Michael) Farrell and Janel (Kevin) Myers; grandchildren: Matthew (Madeline) Farrell, Stephen Farrell, Shannon Farrell, Blake (Alexis) Myers, Jack Myers, and Grant Myers; precious great-grandson, Henry Farrell; and step-sister, Sheryl (Ron) Mailath. Preceded in death by her parents, Richard Cross and Dorothy Rusinski; step-father, Edwin Rusinski; and step-brother, Edwin (still living, Michelle) Rusinski.

Barb was a 1960 graduate of Hammond High School and worked for over 20 years with the School Town of Munster. She found endless joy in the warmth of Florida's winters and the simple pleasures of life. Her passion for decorating, especially during the holidays, was a testament to her creative spirit, filling her home with the magic of the season for all to enjoy.

Barb adored strolling through flea markets, antique shops, and bustling malls and had an eye for finding hidden treasures and unique trinkets. She also enjoyed watching the game show channel and delighted in the creative transformations and ideas featured on HGTV. She will forever be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Friends may visit with the family from 4:00PM – 8:00PM on Monday, October 30, 2023 at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home, 14 Kennedy Ave., Schererville, IN. A Service Celebrating Barb's Life will be held at 7:00 PM. Services conclude at the funeral home.
