Barbara J. Salapski (nee Szot)

Age 85, of Schererville, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2024. She is survived by her loving husband, Walter Salapski; children: Michael (Kathy) Salapski, Susan (Dan) Guzek, David (Lena) Salapski, and Colin (Betsy) Salapski; grandchildren, Ben (Andrea) Guzek and Steven Salapski, siblings: Robert (Sally) Szot), Ronald (Phyllis) Szot, and Rita (Bob) Johnstone. She was preceded in death by her dear parents, Edward and Genevieve Szot and precious granddaughter, Alyssa Salapski.

Barbara was a 1956 graduate of Clark High School. She retired from Walgreens in 2001. Barbara enjoyed traveling in Europe and across the United States. She would spend half the year with her husband in Florida for 25 years. Barbara loved her family dearly and spending time with them. She will be missed and cherished by all who loved her.
