Billy G. Blackwell age 73, of Hammond, IN passed on February 22, 2020. Billy is survived by his loving daughter, Marjorie Blackwell (Josh Narug); son, Bill (Tammy) Blackwell; step-children, Lisa Moen, Karen(Joseph)Scziglak, Laura Williams; grandchildren, Chase Narug, Jackson Narug, Billy Blackwell Jr., Joshua Graham, Billy Moen, Kasey Moen, Brandon Wilson, Chelsea Matthews, Abigail Brandon; brothers, Jim(Denise)Blackwell, Kenith Blackwell; sisters, Helen Swindall and Kathy (Ron) Brackett; mother of his children, Jackie Kifer; and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Anita Blackwell; parents, Milton and Clevadell Blackwell; sister, Ellen Matchen and brother, Bo Blackwell.

Billy grew up in Section, Alabama and was an Army Veteran. Billy was a cross country truck driver and an avid White Sox fan.
