Age 49, of Hammond, IN, formerly Lake Station, and born in Lawton, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2021. Bobby Ray is survived by his wife of 8 months, Esmeralda Sala (nee Ramirez); children, Mariah Sala and Malachi Sala; grandchildren, Emorie Sala-Osterman, Uriah Sala, and Kaiah Sala; mother Phyllis Watson; siblings, Paula Watson, Melissa Angle, David Parmley, Tawyana (Maleik, Maliah, Makiah) Allishaw; step-children, Dalia (Robert) Jackson, Gabriela (Jermont) Evans, Arturo (Lisa) Lopez, Cristian Lopez; and step-grandchild Giovanni James Jackson. Preceded by his father Bobby Ray Sala, Sr.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home , 7109 Calumet Ave., Hammond, IN. A service will be held at 7:00 PM with Father Mark Pavlina officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be appreciated. Face mask and social distancing required.
