Brandon Juan Cruz was a devoted and hardworking man who earned the admiration of all who knew him. For over 17 years, he owned and operated "We Buy Gold" in Gary, Indiana, building a successful business that reflected his determination and showcased his entrepreneurial spirit.

Brandon's life was deeply rooted in faith and family. As an active member of the Family Christian Center in Munster, Indiana, he attended church every Wednesday and began each day with prayer. His strong relationship with God was the foundation of his life. Brandon adored his family, always reaching out with love and care. He was a proud father to his three children—Victoria, Aaliyah and Heaven and his devotion to them was unmatched. He also leaves behind his beloved fiancée, Julie Pagan, who stood by his side with love and partnership, and his brother Luciano and mother Hilda Cruz.

Brandon embraced life with a joyful and passionate spirit. He loved music, singing, dancing, and traveling, always bringing energy and warmth wherever he went. At his shop, he balanced work and leisure, often playing pool with friends and sharing laughs. His sharp wit and incredible sense of humor made him a joy to be around, brightening the lives of everyone he met.

A man with a discerning eye for quality, Brandon's love for jewelry and his business acumen made his enterprise thrive. Known for his impeccable style, he always carried himself with confidence and charisma, often accompanied by his loyal dog, Lucky.

Brandon Juan Cruz will be remembered for his unwavering faith, deep love for his family, and zest for life. His legacy lives on through his children, his fiancée, and the countless lives he touched with his kindness, laughter, and generosity.

A Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Monday, November 25, 2024 at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home 14 Kennedy Ave., Schererville, IN 46375. A Service Celebrating Brandon's Life will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 26, at 12:00 PM with Pastor Poet Billups officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday morning from 9:00 AM until time of service. Burial to follow at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville.
