Brent A. Torrenga

age 37, of Dyer, IN, passed away Monday, March 27, 2017. He is survived by his loving wife Natalia and daughter, Tiffany; parents, Gary Torrenga and Angela Torrenga; siblings, Mark Blair and Yvonne (David Downey) Norris; nephew, Jacob Blair; niece, Faith Blair; step mother, Tanya; step brothers; in laws, Mykchailo and Halyna Dovganivk, Roman Dovganivk; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and many dear friends.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 11:00 AM DIRECTLY at Our Lady of Grace Church, 3025 Highway Ave, Highland, IN 46322, with Bishop Donald J. Hying officiating. A visitation will also be held on Saturday, April 1, 2017 that evening at Solan-Pruzin Funeral Home, 14 Kennedy Ave. (Corner of Main and Kennedy), Schererville, IN from 3:00-7:00 PM. Services will conclude at the funeral home and burial will be private at a later date.

Brent obtained his Civil Engineering and Law Degrees from Valporaiso University. He worked as an engineer at Torrenga Engineering and was a founding member of the law firm Schwerd, Fryman and Torrenga. He was an active member of the Young Lawyers Section of the Lake County Bar Association. Brent was a licensed pilot for most of his life and loved to fly.
