Age 70, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, December 15, 2018. Carlos is survived by his loving children, Carlos (Amy) Bonilla Jr., Carmelo Bonilla, Jennifer Bonilla, Malinda Bonilla and Gabriel Bonilla; 13 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; siblings, David (Anna) Bonilla, Carmelo (Iris) Bonilla, Zaida (Ray) King, Ada (Tony) Harrell and Carmen Bonilla; several nieces, nephews and cousins; mother of the first 4 older children, Mary G. Bonilla.  Carlos is preceded in death by his parents, Carmelo and Margarita Bonilla; one grandchild; and one great grandchild.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 7:00 PM at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home , 14 Kennedy Ave (corner of Main and Kennedy) in Schererville, IN with Pastor Ada Harrell Officiating. A visitation will be held on Thursday at the funeral home from 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM.

Carlos was an avid Cubs and Bears Fan. He was a loving father and grandfather that will be dearly missed.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be appreciated.
