Carol Simmons (nee Sajdyk)

Age 68, of Hammond, IN, passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2024. She is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Wayne; children: Sean Faught, Kyle Simmons, Emily Simmons, and Jessica Simmons; precious grandchildren: Samantha, Hailey, Briana, and Cody; great-granddaughter, Isalia; and sister, Dolores (late Red) Fulte. Preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer Rosas; parents, Casimir and Pauline Sajdyk; and siblings: Lucille (Peter) Solan, Ann (Doug) Crook, Casimer Sajdyk, Jr., Walter "Bo" Sajdyk, Pat (Bob) Farkas, and Lee (still living Chris) Sajdyk.

Carol graduated from Hammond Tech and received her associates degree from Purdue Calumet. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her grandchildren.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home, 14 Kennedy Ave., Schererville, IN.  Services conclude at the funeral home.
