Carrie Lynn Fulte-Meyer

Carrie Lynn Fulte-Meyer, of Savannah, GA, passed away on February 19, 2025 at the age of 62. Carrie is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Thomas Meyer; her son, Samuel; mother, Dolores Fulte; sister, Janet (Ralph) Papesh; niece, Morgan (Woody) Papesh-Hostler; brothers-in-law, Greg (Val) Meyer and Kevin Meyer; sister-in-law, Theresa Meyer; nieces, Maddie, Rebecca, Samantha and Mariah; and nephews, Noah and Ben. She is preceded in death by her father, Red Fulte; father-in-law, Thomas Meyer; brother-in-law, Dennis Meyer; and is now joined in eternal rest by her mother-in-law, Lorraine Meyer, who just passed days later.

Carrie was a graduate of Purdue University Calumet with a degree in Nursing. Carrie was a dedicated and caring R.N. for 40 years, working at Community Hospital in Munster, IN; Mount Vernon Hospital in Alexandria, VA; and private practices, with her last position at Alexandria Primary Care working for Dr. Steve Minton. She was also an owner and vice president of Calumet Electric Supply Corporation, a WBE Certified Business. Carrie was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed spending time with her family, interior decorating and remodeling, reading, the arts, baseball, travel and trying new restaurants.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8th, from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home, 14 Kennedy Avenue, Schererville, IN 46375. Words of remembrance will begin at 5:00 PM.
