Charles "Tuna" Thomas  Khun

Charles "Tuna" Thomas Kuhn, age 81, of Schererville, Indiana, passed away surrounded by loving family. Born September 13, 1944 in Schererville, Charlie lived a life defined by hard work, love, and storytelling.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mike and Leona Kuhn; brothers, Mel Kuhn and Norman Kuhn; and sisters, Ann Ayersman and Mary Carol Marsh. He is survived by his devoted wife of 46 years, Linda Whitworth-Kuhn; his children, Kristin Kuhn of Eagle River, WI, Chuck (C.T.) Kuhn II of Schererville, IN, and Tracy Kuhn of Lowell; as well as several nieces and nephews. Charlie found his greatest joy in the company of his wife, his 3 children, and his dogs.

A proud truck driver, Charlie spent his career on the open road employed by Walsh & Kelly, Reith Riley, and P & C Trucking. He loved the freedom of driving and the stories that came with it. Beyond his work, Charlie had a passion for classic cars and all types of music. One of his proudest moments was owning one of his dream cars - a 1966 Chevy Impala - Which he cherished and enjoyed taking to car shows with his family.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with 7:30 PM Prayer Service, at Solan – Pruzin Funeral Home, 14 Kennedy Ave, Schererville, Indiana. Services conclude at Funeral Home.

Charlie will be remembered for his warmth, humor, and the countless stories he shared. His legacy lives on in the love he gave, the laughter he inspired, and the memories he created with those closest to him.
