Mr Charles J. Wright Sr. "Charlie"

of Hammond, IN age 77, passed away August 11, 2017. Survived by his loving wife Kathy Wright of 59 years. Charlie is also survived by his children: Jeff (Sandy) Wright, Tammy (Tom) Yack and Tina Adams; grandchildren: Natalie Cruz, Leslie Adams, Brian (Tiffany) Adams, Katie (Amaury) Martinez, Taylor Wright, Jake Wright, Emma Klefeker; great grandchildren: Maddox, Parker, Rylee and Raelynn; sisters: Liz, Mary and Kathy; brother Raymond Wright. Preceded in death by his parents Meldon and Lois Wright, daughter Janie Wright, brothers Truman and Lovert Wright, sister Shirley Carr.

Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 from 2:00 – 8:00 PM at the Solan Pruzin Funeral Home & Crematory 14 Kennedy Ave Schererville, IN. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 10:30 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Bill Hillegonds officiating. At rest Elmwood Cemetery Hammond. Charlie was in the Field Coil business for 61 years and was currently employed by Gary Electric in Valparaiso. He cherished the time spent with his loving family especially his beloved grandchildren. An avid sports fan himself, Charlie took pride in his grandchildren's activities and enjoyed always being involved with them.   Roll Tide!
