Charlotte L. McCasland

age 78, of Hammond, IN, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 20, 2021.  Charlotte is survived by her loving children: Bonita Wilson (Robert Gaskill), Kerry (Mike) Martin, Randall (Ann) McCasland; precious grandchildren: Michael (Juli) Wilson, Matthew Wilson, Victoria Boardman, Michael (Amy) Martin, Casey (Emily) Martin, Taylor (Caleb) Shong, and Madison McCasland; four beautiful great-grandchildren: Addison Martin, Jameson Boardman, Grayson Shong, and Peyton Martin; brother Donald (Jan) Sinclair; brothers-in-law, Mike (Mary) Knitter, Richard (Carol) McCasland; and sister-in-law Sister Delores McCasland. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Randall McCasland; parents, James L. and Fern Sinclair; siblings, James (Beverly) Sinclair; Ronald (still living, Mary) Sinclair; Dan Newkirk; and sister-in-law Dawn Sinclair.

Charlotte loved to shoot pool and visit the casino boats. She also enjoyed fireworks. Charlotte was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the American Legion.

A Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Solan-Pruzin Funeral Home, 14 Kennedy Ave., Schererville, IN. A service commemorating Charlotte's life will be held at 7:30 PM with Pastor Doug Sheehy officiating.
