Charlotte M. Sandor

age 67, of Hammond, passed away Thursday July 6, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Char is survived by her children Kathy Wenzel and Chris Sandor; grandchildren: Connor, Corinne, Cameron Wenzel and Griffin Hantz; siblings: Mary (Kenneth) Barker, Brenda (Larry) Moran, Linda (Wayne) Cox, Rozanne Marlow and William (Vicki) Marlowe; sister-in-law Pam (Elias) Carras; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by her husband Jeff in 2010, her parents Samuel and Katherine, siblings: Ruby Traylor, Louise Boyd, James, Jerry, Frank and Gene Marlow.

Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at the Solan Pruzin Funeral Home & Crematory 14 Kennedy Ave Schererville, IN.   A memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 8:00 PM with Fr. Stanley Dominik officiating. In lieu of flowers donations to the family would be appreciated.

Charlotte retired from Citibank after 35+ years of service and during retirement worked for Strack & VanTil's in Highland for the Deli. Char's true passion in life was her devotion to her family, especially her grandchildren. "Pip" or "Popeye", as Chris affectionately called her, will be sorely missed by all who loved her dearly.
