Cheryl Lyn Baugh  (Hawkins)

August 21, 1947 – November 25, 2025

Cheryl Lyn Baugh, affectionately known as "Maga" (a cherished family nickname born from a playful twist on "grandma"), passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 25th, 2025, at the age of 78.

Cheryl was a true matriarch in every season of her life. Her days were defined by service—to her family, her friends, and the communities she touched. Compassionate and generous, she devoted herself to improving the lives of others. Whether working at a local food bank ensuring no one left hungry or supporting single mothers striving for a brighter future, Cheryl gave her time, energy, and heart without hesitation.

Creative and meticulous, she had a gift for bringing joy to gatherings, crafting unforgettable party favors and designing celebrations where no detail was ever overlooked. To know Cheryl was to experience unwavering loyalty, steadfast support, and a deep well of love.

Her legacy, wisdom, and the countless lessons she shared will continue to live on in all who were blessed to love her.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents Rex and Sally Hawkins. She passed on what would have been her fathers 102nd birthday. We thank "Popo" for helping bring our mom home. Preceded in death by her spouse of 40 years, Dave Baugh.

Cheryl is survived by her sister Kim (Russ) Felder.  Five children, Brett (Jill) Baugh, Jeremy (Brianne) Baugh, Jenna (Charlie) Smith, Seth (Sherry) Baugh, Blake (Christina) Baugh. Amazing grandchildren: Kadyn, Addison, Aidan, Chase, Katie, Dylan, Ryder, Hayden, Bellami, Tony and Taylor. Doubly amazing great-grandchildren: Hadley, Marshall, Victoria, Emilia, Jack and Avery. Numerous nieces and nephews.

Cheryl was the epitome of giving. Please be generous to others with your love, time, talents, or a smile just like our precious mom did.

Loved ones will gather for a Celebration of Life at a later date.
