Chester A. Fornari
Age 92 of Greencastle Formerly Hammond passed away Tuesday September 30, 2014 he is survived by 4 children John Fornari, Chester(Paula)Fornari, Joyce Marie(Stephen)Smith, Patrick(Dana)Fornari, 10 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren, Many Nieces , Nephews, Cousins, and Extended Family. Preceded in death by his wife Evelyn, 2 Sisters Pauline and Therese, 1 Brother Ralph "Dello".
Funeral Mass will be held Monday October 6, 2014 10:00 AM Mass Directly at St. James the Less Church 9640 Kennedy Ave. Highland, IN, with Fr. Keith Virus officiating, at rest Chapel Lawn Cemetery. Chester will lie in state at the church from 9:30am until time of Mass. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday from 2:00 to 7:00 pm at the SolanPruzin Funeral Home 14 Kennedy Ave.
Schererville, IN (Corner Main & Kennedy) wake service 3:00PM. Chester retired from Mobil Oil Co. with 42 years of service, WWII veteran serving 2 years in the South Pacific, Life Member of Cesare Battisti lodge #27 and Knights of Columbus. Chester loved his family dearly and was a man of great principal and integrity. He will be dearly missed.
