Clara B. Clark (nee Clevinger) Age 91, of Hammond, Indiana, was called by the lord on Wednesday, May 6, 2026.

Clara is survived by her loving sons, Merrill (Sandi) Clark and Rob (Penny) Clark; precious grandchildren, Heather (Brian) Money, Janelle (Johnny) Knox, and Jordan Clark; cherished great-grandchildren, Will Knox, Hope Knox, Zoe knox, and Elijah Money. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Clark; parents, Adrian and Ida Clevinger (nee Parks); brother, Raymond Clevinger; sisters, Jeanette Skaggs, Adeline Lowrance, Vivian Massey, Marge Tingloff, and Adrian Shields; also leaving behind many nieces and nephews.

Clara was a devoted Christian who found great joy in her work at Suncrest Christian Church. She was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and greatly enjoyed traveling, especially after her husband Robert retired. Together, they shared many wonderful memories on bus trips and cruises, as well as their love of golf.

Clara was a dedicated wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother who was the number one fan of her sons and grandchildren. She never missed an opportunity to cheer them on at their sporting events. She also enjoyed spending time crafting, participating in craft clubs, and creating ceramics. Clara’s warmth, encouragement, and love for her family will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, May 16, 2026 DIRECTLY at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home, 14 Kennedy Ave, Schererville, IN, with Brian Money officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Services conclude at Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Chapel Lawn Cemetery, Schererville, IN.
