CLAUDIA M. BIANCARDI
age 85, of Hammond, passed away Monday, March 30, 2015. Claudia is survived by her daughters Linda Biancardi and Lisa (Alfred) Klapkowski; sons Bob (Lucretia) Biancardi and Rick (Gwen) Biancardi; grandchildren: Brianne (Alex) Biancardi-White, Brett (Cara) Biancardi, Brady Biancardi, Bryan Jones, Emily (Nemanja) Djorvic, Amanda (Dimas) Ramos, Samantha (Amine) Bouya, Jessica Biancardi, Patrick Biancardi, Alexa, Alyssa and Kyle Klapkowski; eight great grandchildren; brother Richard (Carol) Grant; many nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by her husband of 42 years Patsy.
Claudia was a member of Cesare Battisti Lodge and a longtime Hammond resident. Our mother was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She showed us how to live life with dignity, honesty, humor and love.
Funeral services will be held on Friday April 3, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the Solan Pruzin Funeral Home & Crematory 14 Kennedy Ave (corner of Main and Kennedy) Schererville with Dc. Raymond Helfen officiating. Claudia will then be laid to rest in a private ceremony at St. John St. Joseph Cemetery Hammond. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday April 2, 2015 from 2:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations in Claudia's honor may be made to the Alzheimer's Association www.alz.org
