CYNTHIA J. SCALZITTI "CINDY"

age 52, of Griffith, passed away Thursday January 1, 2015. Cindy is survived by her husband Larry; daughter Stacey (Chris) Hammond; sons Anthony (Becca) Scalzitti and Dominic (Brittany) Scalzitti; grandson Chase; mother Barbara Willis; sisters Debbie (Perry) DeRolf and Jeannette (Terry) Jennings; brother Jon (Merri) Willis; aunt Barbara Willis Roppolo; uncle Jim Beougher; many nieces and nephews; beloved pets Charlie and Brandi. Preceded in death by her father John Willis and aunt Maxine Beougher.

Cindy graduated from Andrean High School Class of 1980 and was employed in Management for Walgreens. She was a member of St. Mary Parish in Griffith and a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 66.

A funeral mass will be held on Monday January 5, 2015 at 10:00 AM DIRECTLY at St. Mary Catholic Church 525 N Broad St Griffith with Fr. Theodore Mens officiating. Cindy will lie in state at the church from 9:30 AM until time of mass. At rest Calumet Park Cemetery Merrillville. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday January 4, 2015 from 2:00-8:00 PM at the Solan Pruzin funeral Home & Crematory 14 Kennedy Ave (corner of Main and Kennedy) Schererville.
