Cynthia J. Johnson Age 83, of Lansing, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.

Cynthia was a devoted wife and mother whose greatest joy in life was her family. They shared an especially close bond, built on love, laughter, and unwavering support for one another. She is survived by her two loving daughters, Kimberly Johnson and Christine (Eric) Jarmusz.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard Johnson; her parents, Ralph G. Poli and Irma M. (nee Rossi) Poli; and other dear loved ones who welcomed her home.

In her spare time, Cynthia was an avid writer who found comfort and expression through her words. She also found great joy in tending to her garden and faithfully feeding her birds, taking delight in the simple, peaceful moments they brought to her days.

Cynthia will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her gentle spirit, her creativity, and the deep love she had for her family.
