Dana G. Ciesielski

March 26, 1945 – June 17, 2025

St. John, IN. – Dana Grace Ciesielski, age 80 of St. John, IN. passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2025 peacefully at her home. Dana is survived by her daughter, Tami (Anthony) Wells; sons Brian (Connie) Wortel and Scott Wortel; granddaughters Allison (Mike) Pate, Ashley and Olivia Wortel; great grandson, Blake Pate; sister, Janell Moser; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her husband Edward; parents Richard and Grace Oppenhuis; and sister, Barb Leach.

Dana was very talented from ceramics, stained glass, to painting and refinishing furniture. Dana's gardens at her homes were beautiful and complete perfection, it was her place of peace. Dana loved her family, friends, and all of her neighbors, who she considered family.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a charity of your choice.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Solan-Pruzin Funeral Home, Schererville, IN.

A celebration of life for Dana will take place at a later date for family and close friends
