Danny Powers

Danny Powers, age 62, of Gary, passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2021. Danny is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Jackie Powers; three daughters: Kathy Powers, Amy Powers (Scott Savich), and Lisa (Bradley) Johnson; stepson Joseph Hudson; five precious grandchildren: James Jacobson, Bryce Jacobson, Zander Savich, Julian Johnson, and Phillip Johnson; siblings: Rick Powers, Elmer Powers, Cindy Powers, and Susie Powers; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceded in death by his parents Robert Powers and Barbara Grant; and brother David Powers.

Danny attended Calumet High School and loved music. Above all else, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, especially at weekend BBQs. Danny will be remembered for his love for his family and as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
