David W. Bevil

age 72, of Hammond, IN, formerly of Greenville, KY, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2018.
David is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Regina; 3 children, Jennifer (David) Miller, Karen (Kimberly) Wells-Bevil and David (Jennifer) Bevil; 5 grandchildren, Michael, Madison, Hailey, Danny and Hadyn; 2 sisters, Shirley (late Don) Mosby and Viola Gaston; father in law, Edward (late Joan) Batchelor; sisters in law, Barbara (Pat) Allen, Susan (Michael) Jenkinson and Sherry (late Kenneth) Batchelor, Pam (Mark) Batchelor and Bev (Kevin) Batchelor; brother in law, Steven Batchelor; several nieces, nephews and friends; faithful furry friend, Todd.  David is preceded in death by 3 brothers, Curtis, Jerry and Jewel.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home , 14 Kennedy Ave., Schererville, IN (corner of Kennedy and Main) 46375 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home with Pastor Patrick Allen officiating. He will be laid to rest directly after service at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond, Indiana.

David is an Army Veteran who served in Vietnam. He was a member of the American Legion Post #168. He loved vacationing with his family and gardening.
