Deborah Bogard "Debbie" (nee Bindas)

age 73, of Schererville, IN, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2024. She is survived by her children: Shawn (Darla) Kelly, Niki (Tony) Watson, Lisa (Chris) Waller, Edward (Stacey) Bogard; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings: Christine (late, John) Whitesell, Karen (Robert) Browder, and Sharon (Randall) Diehl; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Bogard; and parents, Mike and Adeline Bindas.

Debbie was a 1969 graduate of Morton High School. She had a passion for decorating cakes and was amazing at it. She adored everything about Christmas. Debbie will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home, 14 Kennedy Ave., Schererville, IN 46375. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 2, 2024, DIRECTLY at St. Michael Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 7047 Columbia Ave, Hammond, IN 46324. Deborah will lie-in-state at the church from 9:30 AM until time of service. Burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Hammond, IN.
