Deborah 'Deb' Lynn Guziar passed away on July 21, 2023, at the age of 75, after a short battle with cancer.  She was preceded in death by her daughter, Crystel.  She is survived by her son, Jeff; daughter-in-law, Mona; and her granddaughter, Adeena.  She also left behind beloved "chosen family" - the Jamisons, the Dunithans, the Magieras, and many others.  She was born in Battle Creek, Michigan, to John and Mildred Breece.  She raised her children in Indiana, and later followed her son to Texas, and then Oklahoma, to stay close to her granddaughter.

Deb spent her career as a Radiology Technician, and she found her passion in mammography by helping others battle cancer through means of early detection.  In her retirement, Deb enjoyed spending her time volunteering with her friends for the Women's Christian Connection.  She will be remembered for her cheerful disposition, her devotion to her family and friends and her never ending willingness to help those less fortunate.

Deb loved to spend time with her family, root for her favorite football teams on weekends, and listen to her granddaughter play music.  She was grateful and proud of her small family, and made it her weekly mission to discover and prepare new healthy salad recipes for the Sunday Family Dinners.  She loved all animals, especially her cats, Dini and Little bit, and Nina, the dog.

You will be sorely missed, Gammy!  Every Sunday dinner, every birthday and holiday, every day!

A graveside service will be held directly at St. Michael Archangel Parrish cemetery at 1 East Wilhelm St. Schererville, Indiana 46375 on Thursday, July 27 at 10 AM with Rev., Martin J. Dobrzynski officiating.
