DON R. JOHNSTON
age 58, of Highland, passed away Sunday August 24, 2014. Don is survived by his loving wife of 24 years Nancy; children: Jennifer (Jeff) King, Jaclyn (Jason) Watts, Eric Johnston and Adam Johnston; nine grandchildren; siblings Bill Johnson and Barb (late Darold) Schmeckpeper; mother in law Phyllis (late Donald) Auld; sister in law Cindy (late Roger) Vuckovich; brother in law Steven (Becky) Auld; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his parents Richard and Marge Johnston.

Don worked as a machinist for DW Ram. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed football and loved the Bears. Don was an avid supporter of his children's activities through coaching soccer and loved to watch their participation. Don will be dearly missed by his loving family.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday August 27, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Solan Pruzin Funeral Home & Crematory 14 Kennedy Ave (corner of Main and Kennedy) Schererville. At rest Chapel Lawn Cemetery Schererville. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday August 26, 2014 from 4:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations to the family would be appreciated.
