Donald L. Beverage

age 72, of Hammond, passed away Monday, January 30, 2017. Don is survived by his loving wife of 46 years Diana (nee Baughman); devoted children: Jean (Jeff) Starkey, Dennis (Sarah) Beverage and Donald Beverage; grandchildren: Joseph Starkey, Nolan, Nathan, Collin and Mary Abigail Beverage; his pride and joy a 1969 BMW R60-2 motorcycle; many other family and friends.

Friends may visit with the family on Friday, February 3, 2017 from 2:00-8:00 PM at the Solan Pruzin Funeral Home & Crematory 14 Kennedy Ave Schererville, IN. Prayers and memories will be shared at 7:00 PM with cremation at Solan Pruzin to follow.

Don, a lifetime resident of Hammond, graduated from Hammond Tech and went on to proudly serve his country in the U.S. Air Force. After completing his service to our country, Don was employed by NIPSCO as an Electrical Supervisor and retired after 30 years of service. Don was a charter member and first president of Crossroads BMW Club. He enjoyed traveling on his bike and attending rallies with Donald. Our loving husband, father, grandfather and friend will be sorely missed and fondly remembered.
