Dorothy Harmon "Dottie"

Age 86, LaPorte In, formerly of Calumet City, IL, passed away Friday, April 7, 2017.  She is survived by her loving children; daughter, Teresa "Tina" (Darryl "Spike") Cosek; son, Lynden "Buster" C. Harmon Jr.; and granddaughter, Rebecca Zilai.  Dorothy is preceded in death by husband, Lynden Harmon Sr.; sisters, Mary (Aaron) Baker, Katherine (Steve) Rakich, Olga (Homer) Powers and brother Paul Zatvarnitski.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 10:00 AM DIRECTLY at St. Hedwig Catholic Church, 3320 E. 134 ^th St., Chicago, IL 60633, with Rev. Michael Augustyn officiating. Dorothy will lie in state at the church from 9:30 AM until time of service, and will be laid to rest directly after service in Oakland Memory Lane, Dolton, IL.  A visitation will also be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Solan-Pruzin Funeral Home , 14 Kennedy Ave. (Corner of Main and Kennedy), Schererville, IN from 3:00-8:00 PM.

Dottie worked at Tom Thumb Daycare in Calumet City. She loved children and animals.
