Elizebeth M. Sugrue DeJoan (nee Fidanze)
Age 86, of Highland, IN, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, June 27, 2015. She is survived by her children; Joseph (Elizabeth)) DeJoan, Elizabeth (Michael) Burns, Gerald (Linda) Sugrue, Kathryn Sugrue, Noreen (Timothy) McCarthy; 8 grandchildren, Alyssa, Jamie, Robyn DeJoan, Kevin Burns, Johanna McCarthy, Jeremy, Matthew, Rachel Sugrue; sister, Frances (Fred) Freeman; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husbands, James DeJoan, Gerald Sugrue; son, Terrance Sugrue; and brother, Daniel Fidanze.
A Funeral Mass will be held 10am, Wednesday, July 1, 2015 DIRECTLY at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 500 Northgate Dr., Dyer, IN 46311, with Rev. Charles W. Niblick officiating. Elizebeth will lie in state at the church from 9:30am until time of service, and will be laid to rest directly after Mass as Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery in Hillside, IL. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 3 till 8pm at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home, 14 Kennedy Ave. (corner of Main and Kennedy), Schererville, IN 46375.
