Elizabeth Irene Hronsky nee Paylo,

age 94, of Whiting, IN passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2014. She is survived by her loving daughters, Cookie (late John) Kolodziej, Mary (Warren) McBride; grandchildren, Susanne (Rob) Pruzin, John (Olivia) Kolodziej, Brennan (Sarah Fuhrman) McBride, Melinda McBride; great grandchildren, John, Robert, Andrew, Ava. She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Joseph Hronsky.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday January 25, 2014 at 10:00 AM DIRECTLY at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 1849 Lincoln Ave., Whiting, IN 46394 with Rev. John E. Kalicky officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, January 24, 2014 from 3:00-8:00 PM at the Solan Pruzin Funeral Home, 7109 Calumet Ave., Hammond. Prayer service 4:00 PM. Visitation at the church from 9:30 AM until time of service. At rest St. John Cemetery Hammond.

Elizabeth was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Whiting, IN and First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association. She was the former owner of Whiting Dairy Queen. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice of the Calumet Area, 600 Superior Ave., Munster, IN would be appreciated.
