Elvira Navarro

age 70, of Hammond, passed away July 30, 2017. Elvira is survived by her loving husband of 53 years Ramiro; children: Alicia (Ramon) Reyes, Rosa (Ernesto) Romero, Roberto Navarro, Maria (Roberto) Navarro, Ramiro (Amparo) Navarro and Flor (Raul) Garcia; 16 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 2 sisters and 1 brother. Elvira was preceded in death by one sister.

Elvira was a devoted wife and mother who cherished the time spent with her loving family. She will be dearly missed by all.

Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, August 3, 2017 from 2:00-8:00 PM at the Solan Pruzin Funeral Home & Crematory 14 Kennedy Ave Schererville, IN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 4, 2017 at 10:00 AM Directly at Our Lady Guadalupe Church 3510 Deodar St. East Chicago, IN. Elvira will lie in repose at the church from 9:30 AM until time of Mass. Cremation at Solan Pruzin to follow service.
