EMILY PAULINE DANKO nee VELLUTINI

age 78, passed away Monday February 24, 2014. Emily is preceded in death by her husband Paul J. Danko, parents Paul and Nancy Vellutini and sister Pauline Morris. Survived by her children: Sharon (Tom) Coppage, Paula (Dennis) Davis, Susan Danko and Margaret (David) Hajduch; grandchildren: Morgan Davis, Taylor Davis, Rawley Davis, Madeline Hajduch, Jacob Hajduch and Reagan Hajduch.

Anyone who knew Emily knew she loved her children and adored her grandchildren to the moon and back. Her hobbies often included a weekly round of golf, playing Bunco with the neighborhood ladies and traveling to visit her grandchildren. She also enjoyed a good steak at Kelsey's, perch from Teibel's and her weekly issue of Star Magazine. She was a dedicated employee of Maria's Hallmark for over 25 years. A funeral mass will be held on Monday March 3, 2014 at 10:30 AM DIRECTLY at St. Michael the Archangel Church 1 W Wilhelm St. Schererville with Fr. Martin Dobrzynski officiating. At rest Calumet Park Cemetery Merrillville. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday March 2, 2014 from 12:00-6:00 PM at the Solan Pruzin Funeral Home & Crematory 14 Kennedy Ave (corner of Main and Kennedy) Schererville. Prayer service 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations in Emily's honor may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
