Ernestina A. Flores "Tina"

age 76, of Gary, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday November 1, 2017.  Tina is survived by her loving husband of 62 years Guillermo; children: Rosalinda (Ernesto) Romero, Guillermo (Irma) Flores Jr., Juanita Flores, Oscar (Monica) Flores, Roberto Flores, Theresa Flores; 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; brothers: Carlos (Eloise) Alvarado Jr., Manuel (Rachel) Alvarado, Hector (Mary) Alvarado; sister: Antonia (Terry) Wilkins, sister-in-law Mary (Late Arturo) Alvarado; several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by grandson Stephen E. Romero, parents Carlos and Antonia Alvarado, brother Juan S. Alvarado and one niece. She was a dedicated and lifelong member of Holy Rosary Church in Gary

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at 11:00 AM directly at Holy Angels Cathedral 640 Tyler Street Gary, IN  with Fr. Kevin McCarthy officiating. Cremation at Solan Pruzin to follow. Ernestina will lie in repose at the church from 10:30 AM until time of Mass. Friends may meet with on Monday, November 6, 2017 from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at the Solan Pruzin Funeral Home & Crematory 14 Kennedy Ave. Schererville, IN.
