Felix A. Maranon Sr.

age 76, of Griffith, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 7, 2017. Felix Sr. is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Cecilia nee Alesna; children: Cecilyne (Michael) Penny, Felix Jr., Alexis, Luchie (Willie) Wright; grandchildren: Amir, Laura, Anson, Stuart and Aydin; brothers: Buenaventura Jr., Carlos and Rico; sisters: Victoria Argenal, Lourdes Maranon and Carmelita Maranon and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. Felix Sr. was preceded in death by his parents Buenaventura Sr. and Catalina; brothers Severo and Tomas; sisters Inocencia Aguadera and Zita Maranon.

Felix Sr. served in the Philippine Navy from 1960 – 1967. He was employed at McNeil Pharmaceutical until illness forced his early retirement.

Visitation is on Friday, August 11, 2017 from 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the Solan Pruzin Funeral Home & Crematory 14 Kennedy Ave. Schererville, IN. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 11:00 AM with Fr. Gregory Bim-Merle officiating. Friends may gather on Saturday at the funeral home from 9:00 AM until time of service.
