Frank Garcia

Age 75, of Highland, IN passed away on Friday, August 2, 2024. He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Terrie (nee Nelson); children: Frank (Rossane) Garcia, Steve Garcia, Tina (Robert) Falstrom, Ron (Ashley) Garcia, Mark Garcia, Jonathan Garcia, Timothy Garcia, and Samuel Guzman; and 19 precious grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Isabel and Esther Garcia; and brother, Steve Pala.

Frank was an Army veteran and proudly served in Vietnam and was a Purple Heart recipient. He was a member of: VFW 802 Hammond, DAV Hammond, Purple Hearts Chapter 17, American Legion Highland, Southeast Side Vietnam Veterans, and Lansing Memorial Veterans. He retired with the United States Postal Service.

A Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 11, 2024 from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home, 14 Kennedy Avenue, Schererville, IN. A Service Celebrating Frank's Life will be held at 5:00 PM. A Burial Service will be held at 2:30 PM, August 12, 2024 DIRECTLY AT Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421.  If attending the burial, please arrive at the cemetery one half hour before the start of services.
