Fredric "Freddy" Shorr

age 71, of Highland, IN formerly of Lansing, IL, passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2018.   Freddy is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Eileen (nee Cohen); children, Lawrence Shorr of Highland and Mandy (John) Bogner of Highland; grandchildren, Jake, Abby, Justin and Jason; and brother, Dr. Jack Shorr. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Shorr and Ida Witkin; and sister, Gayle Poulos.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 15, 2018 at 10:30 am at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond, IN. Solan Pruzin Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements. 219-322-7766

Freddy was a 1964 graduate of Bowen High School in Chicago, IL.  He was a retired Electrician from Local #697 IBEW.  He enjoyed going to car shows and showing off his winning trophies. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice.
