In Loving Memory
Gary Allen Fissinger
August 21, 1959 – June 16, 2026
MUNSTER, IN – Gary Allen Fissinger, age 66, of Munster, IN, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2026. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Pamela Perkins-Fissinger; his five children: Ryan Fissinger, Johnathan, Bryan, Joseph, and Benjamin Perkins; four cherished grandchildren: Atticus, Archer, August, and Kylie; Aunt and Godmother, Donna Adams.
A devoted family man and entrepreneur, Gary built his company, Fissinger & Associates, from the ground up into a thriving and respected business through hard work and determination.
Gary was an avid golfer who loved the game to the very end – fittingly, he scored his final hole-in-one on August 6, 2019, at Briar Ridge Country Club in Schererville, Indiana. The remarkable shot came on the Red Course, Hole No. 3, a par-3 measuring 185 yards - a cherished accomplishment and memory for Gary and those who shared his love of golf. He was also a talented and passionate guitarist who spent countless hours playing the music he loved. His musical tastes ranged from Led Zeppelin and AC/DC to the local band Jamrose, but no band resonated him quite like M&R Rush, which always held a special place in his heart.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Ginger Fissinger; and his brother, Russ Fissinger.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Briar Ridge Country CLUB, 123 Country Club Dr., Schererville, IN 46375. Arrangements have been entrusted to Solan-Pruzin Funeral Home, 14 Kennedy Ave, Schererville, IN 46375.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Gary’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society: http://American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association: https://American Diabetes Association
A loving and caring husband, father, and grandfather, Gary will be deeply missed by his family and all who were fortunate enough to know him. His warmth, generosity, and devotion to those he loved will never be forgotten.
